Da Icons: Evolving Da Tri into Da Logo
This education class from The Mona Cut Academy explores the versatility and evolution of curly haircutting within Da Icons, focusing on how one curl-based shape can be reshaped and transformed into another.
Mona will begin with a live demonstration of Da Tri on a curly model, breaking down the foundation, technique, and intention behind the cut. She will then show how the shape evolves into Da Logo, highlighting how structure can shift as curly clients grow, change, and transition their style.
This class is designed for stylists working with curls who want to better understand haircut adaptability—creating more longevity, flexibility, and intentional transitions for clients moving through different phases of their curl journey.
You’ll gain insight into how Da Icons function as a fluid cutting system rather than fixed shapes.
Please note: This experience includes two parts. The live demonstration is open to all attendees. The hands-on workshop is a separate, limited-capacity ticket where students will work on a mannequin to practice the transformation.

A hands-on workshop where stylists will practice the transition from Da Tri to Da Logo. This class focuses on technique, control, and understanding how to reshape and evolve a cut for clients who are growing out their style. A live demo is included to guide the process before hands-on work begins.
Mannequin is provided for all hands-on training.
