CERTIFICATION OVERVIEW
Before attending an icon course, stylists must successfully complete the foundational course, Da Foundation.
Successfully complete an icon course and collect the corresponding badge.
Instead of certificates, The Mona Cut Academy issues badges. Wear it or place it on your workstation!
To receive a badge, stylists must demonstrate skills acquired in the icon course by submitting a portfolio of two successful cuts for review.

Courses
The Mona Cut Academy™ courses are available to licensed cosmetologists, stylists, and barbers who have worked independently for at least two years and are interested in washing, styling, and cutting a variety of curly hair. Previous experience with curly hair is not required.
